1999 Dodge Durango MY ENGINE STALLS WHILE DRIVING

MY ENGINE STARTED STALLING A MONTH AGO. IT WILL HAPPEN EVERY 4-5 DAYS. SOMETIMES IDLING AT A LIGHT OTHER TIMES DRIVING STRAIGHT. THE ONLY COMMON LINK IS THAT THE ABS AND THE BRAKE LIGHT WOULD COME ON FIRST. A COUPLE OF TIMES THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT COMES ON, AND THE LITTLE GAS TANK LIGHT. HALF OF THE TIME IT STARTS RIGHT BACK UP AND OTHER TIMES IT TAKES LIKE 5-10 MINUTES BEFORE IT WILL START.

Hi:
Are the lights coming on because the engine is dieing, or do they come on while the engine is still running? Also, have you had the computer scanned for problem codes?

If not, I recommend taking it to a nationally recognized auto parts store and have it scanned. Most of the parts stores will do it for free, and at least we'll have a place to start looking.

My gut feeling is a fuel problem, but I need to know about the lights.
