Good Morning,
I have a 1999 dodge durando that has been more insuide a shop then park outside our house, I have change so many things, I'm no mechanic but I seen sensors, wriring, belts battery and hal my leg and arm in charges and still malfunctioning! It drives awesome but once drivable for about 10-30 minutes the engine stalls and have to waiti for 15-20 minutes before it starts again. Have being to several mechanics but I'm running very low in cash flow toward the fixing of the durango. The engine check lites goes on and off and seems when the problem starts the durango just dies on me. Autozone did not find anything wrong once connetced into a computer device.I'm ready to call inn a priest for a exorcism, just tired of allk the run arounds with this mechanics and money spend into repars that are not fixing the problem.

Thank you,
Rick

Thanks for your reply, I just change the following sensors as Autozone said was the only 2 sensors that were showed up as damaged on thier computer,
P0138 & P0132, I have again change the distrubutor cap and rotor, ignition coio, spark plugs, air filter and wiring. Yesterday when I drove the Durango again the check engine came back on even thought it was already rested and some jerking and backfire is still visible when driving.

Please help me out,
Best Rgds,
Rick

Hi Rick
try to cycle key on off three times ending with the ignition key in the on position
that should put the computer in test mode and then you should be able to read the codes in the odometer area
let me know what you have for codes and if its still the same

Thanks Jack for your help, unfortantely try what you told me but nothing happens, the mileage only shows up on the screen. I will continue trying this at home to see if somethings happens.

On top of your head and professional knowledge
what other options or channels can I go through
before calling it quits.

Thanks again and I will be back on Friday to leave some monetary donation as you guys really go out the extra mile to help people like myself that lack money and machanical knowledge.

Best Rgds
Rick

Hello Rick

The reason for this test is to get the codes and if you have the same codes returning
then we know you have replaced the o2 sensors some where
and you need to locate it
by checking the wiring harness
don't over look the fuses and connectors
turn key off disconnect the PCM connector and check the pins clean and reinstall
good luck and let me know
