Loss of electrical in dash?

When checking for a radio that did not have any output I accidently shorted the lead. I heard what sounded like a fuse blow. At that time I lost the rear window wiper and the dome lights. The fuse for the radio did not blow. I cannot locate another fuse that went bad

Hi:
If no fuses went bad, I would have to guess there is a broken or damaged wire or ground wire that shorted. Take a close look to see if you can locate anything like that.

Let me know what you find.

I have a 2000 dodge durango 5.9 l I just replaced battery and I got a new oil sensor changed it and now my security lights blinks, no power to the gauges or instrument panel. It turns over but does start. I have a clicking noise to the right of the dash which I assume is the anti theft computer. It doesn't make sense I cleaned all wires and everything was fine before I changed the sensor. I retraced my step and behind the transmission dip stick was a loose wire and thought to my self surely that couldn't be doing anything it was barley loose. Well after 4 days of looking and checking fuses. Today when I saw the loose wire I tightened it and my car started right up. I guess i move it will changing my oil sensor on the back side of the motor. I hope these pictures help someone.

Yep, that looks like a main system ground, nice working finding out the problem, I sure it will help people with the same issue.
