Transmission problem
1999 Dodge Durango V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic 150k miles

My brother was stuck and placed his vehicle into 4 wheel drive to get out. When he switched back to 2 wheel drive, his vehicle will not engage any gears at the shifter inside the car. Please diagnose this problem before I drive two hours to get him!

Have you made sure the transfercase is shifting into gear and not into neutral?
