When the brakes were replaced they sounded find after about 3 miles the front passenger side brake started to make a grinding sound but whe the break is applied the noise goes away when you release the brake the noise comes back.

Hi there,

Remove the pads and inspect for any problem like a stone stuck up behind the backing plate, if nothing is found reassemble taking care to make sure all components are assembled correctly and that all the retaining pins & clips are not touching the rotor, check that the backing plate is not touching the rotor and the wheel bearings are serviceable.
