1998 Dodge Durango wont change from defrost to vent

need to know to get off defrost and to vent it wont switch over and yess blower is working

Chances are you are looking for a vacuum leak in this case. Check under the dash and the hood for leaks. The vent doors are actuated by vacuum. If the vacuum pressure is too low, it won't switch.

Let me know what you find.

NOTE: If you are lucky, with the engine running you may hear a hissing from a leak.
