Electrical problem
1998 Dodge Durango V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic

The headlights on my vehicle do not work. I have changed the turn signal/wiper/brights switch and that didn't work. what else can I do or check to get them to work?

Welcome, when you changed out the multi function switch, did you happen to check any wiring circuits? Check fuse 2-- 40 amp, under hood power distribution center, use a test-lite, the circuit should be hot all the time.

The violet wire is low beam voltage, the other is high beam, and black is ground.

Did you replace or check the headlight switch itself?

Good morning,

I also attached a diagram for you to view. There are individual fuses for each headlight under the dash in the fuse panel. Check those fuses for power with a test light.
