Engine Cooling problem
1998 Dodge Durango V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic

I need to replace the freeze plug that is behind pass. side motor mount on 318 motor. To pull the motor mount off do I need to also drop the front differential like the repair manual says, or can the motor mount and engine support bracket be removed without removing the front axle assembly.

Hi:

I'm not sure what you're asking. If you are able to support the engine from under the truck (not the oil pan) you should be able to remove the motor mount without removing the axle.
