The horn stopped working so i checked the fuse which is ok. the horn does work with the alarm system. Is there anything else that i should check before i end up taking it to a repair shop.

No, not unless the switch is bad. The horn had its connection through a clockspring. I wouldn't recommend replacing one unless you've done one. Its good, you have checked what you could.k
