The shifter has quit shifting into reverse. It was sticky before, but now it just won't shift into reverse at all. I can shift into gears 1-5, so why can't I shift into reverse?

all the forward gears have synchronizers on them, reverse does not. Alot of times it's the clutch out of adjustment or it's going bad or something along that line, like it may not be completely applying. If you can shift into reverse with the engine not running the i'd look for a clutch problem. It also may be worn linkage as well...
