1998 Dodge Daytona starting

when you start the truck it will not continue running. but if you keep your foot on the gas peddle will continue running but as soon as you take it off it dies. do you think that is a sensor or the fuel pump?

Hi:
It sounds like a throttle position sensor. Have it scanned at one of the local nationally recognized auto parts stores. They'll will most likely do it for free. Let me know if you have any other questions.
