1987 Dodge Daytona 4 cyl Wheel Drive Type unknown Automatic 150000 miles

The front axel broke and the garage said it would cost $ 180.00 to replace it. They said you can't buy used ones, but what about wrecked cars at the junkyard? Does that amount sound right to you?

Thank you

Because of the model year, it may be hard to find one in a salvage yard, but I'm sure they are there. Also, call around some of the parts stores to get prices. Honestly, that doesn't sound too high.
