1987 Dodge Daytona replacing an axel

1987 Dodge Daytona 4 cyl Wheel Drive Type unknown Automatic 150000 miles

The front axel broke and the garage said it would cost $ 180.00 to replace it. They said you can't buy used ones, but what about wrecked cars at the junkyard ? Does that amount sound right to you ?

Because of the model year, it may be hard to find one in a salvage yard, but I'm sure they are there. Also, call around some of the parts stores to get prices. Honestly, that doesn't sound too high.
