2008 Dodge Dakota aftermarket rims

i am thinking of changing my factory size rims from 16x8 inch to 20x9or9.5. inch. does this effect the integrity of the brakes in any way?

Wont stop as well, will wear out the wheel bearings(hubs) and other parts prematurely.Too much reciprocating weight for the brakes and bearings to handle. Alot of people do it, not saying you cant, but be prepared for other problems.You will also need to have the PCM reprogrammed for the overall tire height if it is different than stock so the trans will shift at the right time
