Every once in a while, the truck will do one of two things. Usually they happen when driven for the first time of the day before getting to the end of the driveway.

One thing is when I start it up and put it in reverse, most of the time it will start backing up with just an idle. Occasionally, it will do nothing and I have to give it some good gas to get it going back. It seems and sounds to be running and idling just fine, but there is the hesitation sometimes.

The other thing it will do sometimes, and not necessarily on the same day the above thing happens, is when I get to the end of the driveway and stop to look for traffic, it will stall out. I re-start it and take off and it is fine for the rest of the day.

Like I said, neither of these things happen regularly, although the reverse thing happens more frequently than the stalling out.

Could these somehow be related? Any ideas what it could be and what to do to fix them?

Thank you in advnace for your insight and help.
