The headlight on indicator is on. It caused me to check vehicle. The flasher is cycling extra fast. I noticed rear left turn signal not working. I cannot find flasher under dash

Hello,

This car does not have a turn signal flasher because it is done by the TIPM which goes out all the time. Here is the location and the TIPM and the wiring diagrams for the blinkers so you can see how they work. You will need to have the new TIPM initiated it should cost about $130.00 at a shop.

Check out the diagrams (below). Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.

Cheers, Joe

On three different occassions I have had my turn signals and hazard warning lights fail. Each time I had to replace the 20 amp fuse.
On two other occassions I have had "check gage readings" light up on the dash. When I pull to the side of the road and shut down the engiine for a while then restart it goes away.
How can I pinpoint the computer problem?

If the check engine light has come on, there should be a trouble code stored in the computer. Take the truck to a nationally recognized parts store and have them scan the computer for codes. Most will do it for free and it should help identify where the problem is coming from. But to be honest, I question if the check engine light and the signals are related. Have you checked the flasher?
