2005 Dodge Dakota help with the back brakes

my husband did the back brakes and now they arent working either is the emergency brake. what could be wrong?? we are just using the front brakes now. Please help

Did he properl adjust the new brakes? (I am assuming the truck has rear drum brakes not disc).

Let me know how he adjusted them if he did it.

He use the tool that u use to adjust them. ya they have drums

If both the e-brake and regular brakes stopped working, they must be out of adjustment. Did he adjust them until there was a drag when spinning, pump the brakes to center them, and then readjust? The reason I'm still questioning it is because both regular and e-brake don't work.
