The vehicle dies intermittently, sometimes while driving and other times while coming to a stop. The vehicle runs rough sometimes while coming to a stop.

Does it start right back up after ?
check and suspect crank sensor
check for vacuum leaks
do u have check engine light on
cycle key on OFF ON OFF ON read P codes in the odometer area
clean throttle body and air control valve
let me know

After pulling the codes as you recommend by the on off on off, etc.:

Suspect map sensor check if its unplugged
check the wiring
replace MAP sensor
p0522
oil pressure low
Turn the ignition off.
Disconnect the Oil Pressure Switch harness connector.
Ignition on, engine not running.
Connect a jumper wire to the (G6) Oil Pressure Signal circuit in the Sensor harness connector.
With the scan tool monitor the Oil Pressure Switch state.
Touch the other end of the jumper wire to a known good Ground several times.
Did the Oil Pressure Switch state change from High to Low when connecting and disconnecting the jumper wire to ground?
Yes
Replace the Oil Pressure Switch.
No
Check for a short wire

Here is an update:

We took the vehicle to the shop and the following was done:

Changed: oil pressure sensor

Changed: map sensor

Now the car is not dying but running very rough especially when trying to accelerate over 40 mph.
