Climate control vent Stuck on defrost

My air-conditioner is stuck delivering air through the windscreen outlet. Changing the selector to 'feet' or 'floor' does nothing. Any ideas?

Hi johndabbs. Welcome to the forum. The actuators are vacuum-controlled. Check for a small black vacuum hose under the hood that is cracked or disconnected. The system is spring-loaded to default to the defrost position in case of a vacuum supply failure to insure you will have a clear windshield.
