Can the bed of a pickup truck be adjusted? The space between the cab and the bed is about 1-1/2 inches off between the driver side and passenger side.

Actually, no. On the frame has a set location for the bolt, and the bed has a threaded side that isn't adjustable. If it is out of line that much, something is bent. Was the truck in an accident?

No, truck was not in accident but while loading a pallet of mulch onto the bed the forklift hit that side of tailgate.

It must have bent something. I believe there are 8 bolts that hold the bed to the frame. Check it to make sure nothing is bent.
