2004 Dodge Dakota Intermitent Power Steering

My power steering seems to be weak/intermittent. Sometimes there is no power steering, other times it is fine. There are no leaks, and fluid levels are good. I added some "P/S conditioner" last week, but it didn't seem to help. Ideas? Should I replace the pump?

Your up near the time you might think about a new serpentine belt and tensioner, if the tension isn't right it will let the belt slip causing this type of problem. Even if it turns out to be the pump, this would be my first step!
