2004 Dodge Dakota 4 wheel drive won't work

When I switch from 2 wheel drive to 4 wheel drive (using dash switch) the light on the 4 wheel drive blinks but it won't change from 2 wheel drive to 4 wheel drive. It was running fine up until this. No problems at all.

Okay, I need to know if you are getting power to the electric 4wd actuator on the transfer case. Let me know what you find.

I don't know. But my windshield wipers stopped working at the same time so it seems reasonable there is a connection.
