When I try and engage the 4 wheel drive with the knob in the cab, the little light indicating 4 wheel flashes for a few seconds then goes back to 2 wheel. I have no clue where to start with this problem. I know that i have to change one of my rear brake rotors that has been giving me a little vibration for a month now. Does this have anything to do with the 4 wheel drive system. thank you for your help

Your truck has a transfer case control module(TCCM) and to diagnose it, you need a Chrysler DRBIII scanner, it will show the defective part.
