Truck willnot start..I can hear the solenoid, clicking..Tried to jump, still wouldnot engage..Is it the Battery, starter, solenoid, or N-Switch, in trans??

If you hear the solenoid, then the starter needs replaced. Remove it and have it bench tested at a parts store. Most do it for free, and then you'll know for sure it is the starter.

The Battery, was shorted out internally..This is the reason, I couldnot jump it..Replaced battery, everything is good to go..Ausrick

I'm glad you got it fixed. I am surprised it didn't jump for you. That is why I assumed it was the starter.

Thank you for your imput..It had me fooled too..I had never, had a battery, fail like that..It cost me a tow bill..
