2003 Dodge Dakota Rear diff noise on corner

My rear end makes a strange grinding/rubbing noise only when I start from a dead stop with my wheels turned. Straightaway is fine and a rolling stop into a turn is fine. The fluid levels are good, any other ideas before it gets pulled apart?

To me it sounds like it needs a shim kit. They actually shim the ring gear so there is no side to side play.
