2003 Dodge Dakota My car turns off

My car keeps turning off and the check engage turns on and them all the lights turn on like the brake light,windsheild lights,air bag lights,and check gages and then the car starets to lower the speed and turn off and would not turn on any more then I got someone to jump start my car and then turn on after going three blocks away the car turned off and then I got another jump start but it would not start any more

Okay... Did the check engine light come on before it died? Will the engine starter turn the engine over? If so, I need you to check to see if you are getting spark and fuel to the engine. Here is how to check:
