2003 Dodge Dakota Ignition Issues

I have an issue where i just changed the spark plugs because it was coming up on 100,000 miles. Engine was fine before. Now it is skipping and the check engine light is on. I put the old plugs back in and it still is doing the same thing. I drive it and it will not let me go over 3000 rpms. Please help!!!

Sounds like the wires are crossed. Check your firing order and make sure everything is plugged in good.
By the way did you change the wires too?
