I had this problem once before and was told that if I could get it into neutral and start it then put it into drive. This worked and I haven't had another problem since. Until today.I can't even get it into neutral with my foot on the brake. Help.I'm stuck at work and live out of town

Hi:
Is the truck stuck in park? Are your brake lights working?

You were right, it was the brake light sensor! Thanks!

Hi:
Great! Everyone thinks I'm nuts when I ask that question, but without the brake switch sending the signal to the park lock-out, you're stuck in park.

Take care and if you run into trouble in the future, let us know.

Merry Christmas,
Joe
