I have 14 volts to the Pink/Blk wires and the Black(Ground) has continuity to the chassis. The only thing the turns on is the clock when the button is pressed. Any suggestions

This is a common problem. Either the on off switch has a bad soulder joint or the amp is bad.

Jacobandnickolas is right about power switches, but those models were in early to mid '90s vehicles. If your radio has three tone controls with yellow leds, they are not repairable without sending them to the authorized warranty centers. The cassette model is 56038518. I only remember there's a "67" in the cd model number. There are no cd / cassette combos that this applies to, but there are combo units that make dandy, identical-looking replacements.

These models are all the rounded-face models, not the older square-cornered faceplate. If this doesn't sound like the correct diagnosis, pull the radio out to read the model number on the sticker on top, then holler back.

I did some more checking and I'm not getting power from the red/white wire(ignition) +12V. Does this mean I have a contact that is bad on my ignition switch

If you have an inline fuse going to the radio, just get power from another source. I doubt the ignition switch is bad, but with electric, it can be hard to tell.
