I just got my dakota unstuck from ice storm we had here this week. I noticed that the engine sounded different and that the check gages light came on. I then noticed that there was no oil pressure. Any ideas? I am on a very limited budget and this is the only vehicle I have.

Check the oil pressure with an oil pressure gauge-if normal replace the oil sending unit-if not oil pump has failed.
