2002 Dodge Dakota heater blower

Heater problem
2002 Dodge Dakota 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic 126k miles

the blower not blowing I checked the fuses ok. What I did find out is that I supplied a ground to the blower wire it worked. Do you think the resister is bad?

Did all speeds work when you provided a ground?

When I supplied the ground to the blower it went on high can't control the speed. I had a dodge truck before and the resistor went bad the blower went to high only. Knowing that I found out that the resistor was bad and replaced it.
