I had the driver side wheel bearing replaced last year. This year I had vibration and wheel noise from passenger side. I replaced the wheel bearing. It was definitly bad the grease was running out. The noise stayed the same. I replaced the wheel bearing again suspecting that it was bad from the factory. The noise is the same still. So I know the wheel bearing is good on the passenger side but it still makes alot of noise when on the highway esecially turning left.

The bearings are sold as hub assemblies sealed from factory. What else shoulld I check! What could be making this noise. The noise sounds like a low rumble I am almost certain its the wheel bearing but its brand new. Any suggestions?

If the sound gets louder when you turn left, I would say the bad bearing is on the left side. Think about it. WHen you turn left, more weight is placed on the left side of the vehicle. That is when you would hear the most noise. Does the sound get quietier when you turn right? If so, that is when the weight is lessened on the left.

I would say that you either have a bad left one and the it sounds like it's on the right, or there is an axle bearing problem. Are you sure it is the front?

Let me know.
