The light check 4wheel drive comes on, if driving the interior cab lights, headlights come on. You can turn the truck off it keeps dinging because the headlights and interior lights are on, can't shut off, door locks, do not work. The only way one can get the lights, etc. off- shut the truck off, raise the hood, disconnect the battery, hook back up when want to drive. Suggestions appreciated

Sorry to say a lot of things are controlled now by unnecessary, unreliable, complicated computers. First, remove the headlight switch and look for overheated terminals or melted wires in the plastic connector. If everything looks ok, unplug the connector and see if the lights go off. If not, suspect a problem in the Central Timer Module. My 1988 Grand Caravan has power locks and windows, headlights with a dinger, and interior lights. They all work just fine without a single computer involved. Not sure what the problem was, but the engineers found a solution to it by adding a computer module. It's no wonder people don't want to buy new cars!
