i have a2001dodge dakota quad cab my problen is the interior lights wont turn off ihve to take off the battery cable ever time i shut it off ant ideas whats causing tis and how hard tofix it

First, until you find the problem, just pull the fuse so you don't have to continue disconnecting the battery. As far as the problem, you need to check the switches at each door. Remove each switch and check to see if the circuit is broken (continunity) when the switch is depressed. If you continue to feed power through the switch, then it's bad.
