I have a 2001 Dodge Dakota. When it idles, it sometimes idles high (reving it's own engine). I had the Oxygen Sensor replaced last Saturday and it ran great until it started happening again yesterday (Tuesday). Any reason this would be doing this??? For some reason it usually seems to happen when it is warm. This has been happening for at least 1.5 years and we can't seem to correct the problem.
On another note, the engine light came on again yesterday as well and when they tested it todeay, it came up with an emissions code. The mechanic said that this is probably just a cracked hose. Could this cause the issue with the idle?
