2001 Dodge Dakota 4 cyl Automatic 55000 miles

my heater control switch will only work on high.
low,med. will not work. do i need anew switch?

switch should be OK
blower motor speed resister no good have it replaced

I have the same issue on a 2001 Dodge Grand Caravan. I have replaced the motor speed resister which corrects the problem. But it only lasts a couple weeks. I have installed 3 resisters in two months, all of which failed after only a couple weeks. Any idea why they keep failing?
