I will be driving down the road and hear like a faint clicking sound and now its more of a clicking and grinding sound im wondering if it is the cv shaft on the front drivers side of my truck???

HI there,

CV's normally click when they are under load (turning or at full lock) but if they are really bad they may click when you are driving a straight line, have then checked as well as the wheel bearings to be safe.
