2001 Dodge Dakota Bottom of engine

I have just had the bottom of the engine roverhauled and it started making a slight knock in the bottom end after i replaced oil pump sendng unit and bearings what could be the problem now?

That depends.Did it lose bearings (knock) before the work was done?If so the rods/crank probably should have been remachined and oversized bearings used.If it had damage and this wasnt done, it will have excessive clearances and make noise
