it would not shift out of 4 wheel drive low

i was using my 4 wheel drive in snow and when i got a clear road it would not shift out of 4 wheel drive low. every time i turn my switch out of 4 wheel drive low the indicator light blinks and the solid light stays on 4 wheel drive low and will not come out of low 4 wheel drive.

If it doesn't come out of 4wd, the problem is in the actuator on the transfercase. Have you tried backing up when you try it? If you did and it still won't come out of lo, you need to first make sure the actuator on the transfer case is getting power. Have a helper switch to 4wd hi or 2wd hi while you check for power under the vehicle.
