2001 dodge dakota with 4.7 liter engine has air bag light on on the dash and the horn and cruise control won't work. what's wrong

The column had problems. See that no fuse is blown. The Air bag on the steering wheel, the horn and cruise all have this column in common. So that could be where a switch problem may be occurring. It can be checked with a scanner and all these functions have means of operating with it.
These 3 connections are in the upper column and may have a common source of ground or power. A fuse, or the BCM needs checking. The horn and airbag are safety items, so please be careful, ok.
