Hi:
The oil pump is in the oil pan. To replace it you need to remove the oil pan.

remove the starter, trans dust shield, support engine and loosen engine mounts and unbolt pan..you ill have to finagal the pan off but you can do it...then unbolt pan and pump. clean pan and replace.
