2000 Dodge Dakota engine stalls when put into drive

This has happened to my wifes dodge and I have not witnessed it.She said she started it and put it into drive and the engine stalled,she started it back up and everything was fine.Has happened twice in the last month.Fuel tank was under 1/4,parked on flat ground,no other issues.

why not see the "first things to check" section under 'trouble codes'. ok maybe a code number can help.
