2000 Dodge Dakota cant turn key.

Don't laugh, but did you try a different key for the truck? I have actually seen keys wear so badly, they no longer work. If you have tried this, it sounds like the tumblers inside have worn out or are damaged. You will most likely need to call a locksmith to have it replaced, or towed to a shop. Don't be overly concerned. It shouldn't be too expensive.
