While driving, my truck squeals. When i'm parked at a light, the noise stops. I thought it was bearings, but I had those checked a while ago and the mechanic said they were fine. Anyone have any ideas?

IF the noise stops when you stop the truck, then I wouldn't think bearing. Can you tell aprox where it is coming from? In park, if you rev the engine, does it make the sound?

I also forgot to ask if the backing plates behind the rotors were checked to make sure they are not bent or rusted and rubbing the rotors when you are moving.

Let me know.

If someone could please help me out asap with the above problem, that would be great. It seems the Squeak/squeal gets louder the faster you go. This problem is driving me nuts! Please let me know if anyone has any ideas.
