i had my trans rebuilt and have not been able to get the truck to start.i replaced the coil and still no spark?HELP

just installed new $120 crank sensor.turned engin over 2 times and cracked sensor in two. what could have done this????

It sounds like it wasn't properly installed. It had to hit something. Check for evidence of where / what may have hit it.

Depending on the manufacturer of the sensor, there will either be a thin plastic rib on the end that is designed to wear off or you must install a paper spacer on the end which will slide off when the engine starts. Those are designed to set the proper air gap. If you're installing a used sensor that had a rib, it must be sliced off, then the paper spacer must be used. If the new sensor didn't come with the spacer already stuck to the end, they are available from the dealership parts department.

He is correct. They must have an air gap. If you don't it will be hit and break.
