i got a new stereo for my 1999 dodge dakota, and after i hooked it up, i lost my dashboard lights, (i hooked it up with the adapters for that year truck so that way i didn't have to cut the wires..) i unhooked the connectors and the lights did not come back on, and i changed the fuse and still no lights, i don't have any more ideas on what it could be. ..

Suspect bad fuse
Turn lights on ,use a test light or volt meter and check fuses
