1999 Dodge Dakota 6 cyl

I replaced the water pump and I used the silicone gasket to form a gasket because the paper gasket ripped. My question is my water pump still leaks and don't know what to do to fix it right. How do I do this the right way without paying alot due to me being unemployed?

Scrap off silicone get another gasket place in on pump use apermetex Hi-Tack to hold NO SILICONE
