1998 Dodge Dakota Transmission seems to slip

The transmission on the truck seems to slip. I have checked the fluid and it is fine. Is there a tranmission sensor or anything else I can check. Thank you

There are sensors, but non that would make it slip. Can you describe what it is doing, when it does it, and how often and long it last?
