My dakota when the moisture level is high like when it rains quite a bit the speedometer will jump up and down between 10 mph to 120 mph, and the transmission will jump in and out killing the motor. The engine light will come on for a while, off a while wet or dry outside.I've allready change the speed sensors on both the transmission and the rear end. Could this be a bad PCM?

The speed sensor on the axle is for the rear wheel anti-lock brake system, nothing more.

When the Check Engine light came on, a diagnostic fault code was memorized in the engine computer. You should find out what the code is. That will indicate the circuit or system with the problem. Do not replace the computer or disconnect the battery because that will erase the code(s) and the valuable information will be lost.
