P0463 Fuel level sensor high input code

Also, at one point the fuel guage went to zero. Added 9 gal's of fuel and went to normal.

This truck sets a lot but I leave the tank full.

Runs very well otherwise.

What do I need to do to further diagnose and repair this issue.

Your fuel level sensor (Tank Unit) is shorting out, replace it to repair this problem. Please get back to me when the repair has been made.
