I have a 98 dakota which has stopped shifting out of first gear until it hits about 4000 prms. In addition the speedometer stays at 0. When the transmission finally shifts the speedometer kicks in and everything functions normally. I don't drive the truck regularly anymore and was wondering if a plugged filter may be the problem. Does this ring a bell with anyone?
